Nestled between the sea and the sweeping beauty of the New Forest, Gill Hastelow draws endless inspiration from her surroundings in Lymington. Her work reflects the character of this unique landscape — from tranquil coastal vistas to the charm of local wildlife and village life.

Working from her home studio and firing each piece in her very own kiln, Gill creates an eclectic mix of hand-built and wheel-thrown pottery, complemented by tasteful, atmospheric paintings. Her collection ranges from refined, elegant ceramics and expressive landscape art to the more playful side of her creativity — featuring favourites like highland cows, donkeys with christmas hats and even disco snails.

A familiar face at New Forest craft fairs and beyond, Gill’s work has gained popularity both locally and abroad, celebrated for its individuality, warmth, and unmistakable touch of joy.
